FINANCE MANAGER required in Samutprakan,Thailand for one of our clients who is the leading integrated end-to-end supply chain management and logistics partner to some of the world's largest companies in the hi-tech/electronics, chemicals/healthcare and consumer goods industries.

Roles and  Responsibilities:

  • Handling the full spectrum of financial and management accounting function for all entities in the country – including Billing, AR, AP, GL, Cashbook, Fixed Assets, etc.

  • Ensure completeness and accuracy of the accounts. Ensure that revenue and expenses are adequately accrued for on a monthly basis

  • Implement the required internal controls in the country and corporate governance

  • Meeting the required management & statutory deadlines in submission of monthly financial reports, VAT filing, completion of audit, filing of annual returns, tax filing, etc. Liaising with the local corporate secretarial agent

  • Analyze and review monthly performance for actuals vs. prior year/prior month/forecast/budget, highlighting and explaining any variances in the accounts.

  • Analyze by reporting entity and customer project

  • Ensure that all Balance Sheet amounts are properly stated and are valid. Review the schedules supporting the Balance Sheet amounts to ensure conformity on a monthly basis.

  • Perform AR & AP reconciliations and Intercompany reconciliations

  • Ensure services provided to customer are invoiced on a timely, complete and accurate manner.

  • Ensure that collections of receivables are prompt and DSO is within target. To adhere to the Group Credit Policy

  • Liaising with the auditors to ensure timely completion of the annual audit,

  • Resolving audit issues, and keeping HQ aware of material issues. To ensure that the accounts are unqualified

Skills and Requirements:

  • Bachelor Degree in Accountancy/Finance or Professional Accounting Qualification with Chartered Accountant or CPA

  • Minimum 5 years of all-rounded experience in audit, accounting and managing country finance function in Bangkok

  • Good understanding of accounting/tax/audit/currency controls/culture/governance in Bangkok

  • Preferably candidate with experience working in Logistics industry

  • Mature and pleasant personality with excellent communication

  • Flexible, enthusiastic, self-motivated and a team player

  • Proficient in speaking and written in English

  • Experience in the supply chain/logistics industry would be an advantage

  • Preferably with hands on experience in financial planning/analysis

  • Experience on Oracle system
