REGIONAL SALES MANAGER (S.E.ASIA) required for one of our clients who is a leader in refrigeration manufacturing to be based in Nonthaburi, Thailand. He will report to Refrigeration Technologies' Country sales Organization vice President North america and vice President of sales Support & competence center- America & Asia, The Manager will be responsible for identifying sales opportunities, establishing sales to new customersand maintaining sales relationships with existing customers.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Pre Sales :

  • Identify and respond to potential sales opportiunities.

  • Provide comprehensive written market information including identifying competitors, their strategies, pricing and terms.

  • Identify, close, manage and grow opportunities in assigned territory by establishing and developing a new customer base.

  • Maintain and enhance existing customer relationships.

  • Assess clients' needs and resources and recommend the appropriate goods or services.

  • Develop reports and proposals as part of sales presentation to illustrate benefits from use of good service.

  • Provide quotation inclusive of the cost of equipment, installation and service.


  • Provide information on customer requests and requiremnts or other requirements regarding product design where goods and services must be tailored to suit clients needs.

  • Prepare and complete sales contracts, inclusive of financial terms of payment.

  • Monitor manufacturing activity and maintain customer communication.

After sales

  • Follow up and respond to customer enquiries regarding on site installation and service.

  • Maintain files on completed sales

Requirements and Skills:

  • Age 32-40, Expats welcome.

  • Minimum 2 year diploma in sales, marketing or related experience Or have extensive experience in food processing industry Or have extensive knowledge of freezing and experience in large capital industrial equipment sales.

  • Mechanical Engineering degree an asset

  • Must have intermediate computer skills, with experience in databases.

  • Should be willing to travel frequently as and when required depending on the business needs.

  • Expectional communication skills inclusive of listening and effectively responding to enquiries and concerns.

  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of manager, clients, customers and general public.

  • Ability to develop and maintain relationships and internal peers.

  • Ability to write clear and concise reports and business corresponcence.

  • Ability to recogonize a problem or potential problem and react quickly and effectively.

  • High degree of fluency in English both written and oral.

  • A specific foreign language/ foreign work or travel experience may be required depending on the geographical area assigned.

Business Acumen

  • Ability to analyze and interpret general business trends.

  • Ability to read and understand technical information regarding products and customer specifications.
