  • Manage the processing of bakery and cake products including manufacture and packing
  • Achieve high level of employee productivity by motivating and leading multinational and multidiscipline staff and ensuring effective recruitment, development, training at all levels and to maintain good employee relation.
  • Control and direct manufacturing personnel through production managers in order to ensure adherence to agreed production targets of efficiency, hygiene, cost and quality
  • Conduct regular production meetings, to promote good communications, provide technical guidance and workable solutions to problems
  • Maintain a clean and safe plant
  • As part of an overall continuous improvement process to lead/drive various initiatives with a view to improving or exiting service, quality, cost parameters
  • Establish and direct plant policies and procedures and responsible for plant production goals
  • Conduct employee performance review


  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Hotel Management, Food Sciences or any related field
  • Experience as a Pastry Chef, or similar role in a bakery/cake environment
  • At least 5 years’ experience in a similar managerial role within a bakery/cake environment
  • Extensive bakery processing knowledge and exposure to process management systems
  • Management experience of a multifunctional and multicultural work force in a manufacturing environment
  • Excellent people management and strong interpersonal skills
  • Good command of English both spoken and written
  • Computer literacy, especially Excel with ability to manage complex excel file
