Job responsibilities :

 

Manage and direct the premier health insurance business unit. This position is accountable for the commercial success and development of the business unit and product line. 

Lead the development of product strategy and direct the implementation of product management and marketing, including most of the following activities: sales support, product tendering, quality assurance. 

Establish objectives and product policies, standards to ensure quality, timely delivery, customer satisfaction and profitability within assigned business division/unit. 

Supporting functions like finance, accounting, marketing and administration is shared with the other business units.

Develop sales plans, activities, and campaigns (in collaboration with the call center) and manage the day-to-day activities of the premier sales team in order to implement the business units overall sales strategy for the product line, market segment, and list of customer accounts. Including:

Participation in the preparation of sales forecasts and budgets; 

Monitor sales volume, revenues, and costs against forecasts to identify problem areas; and adapt procedures or re-allocate resources to improve the overall performance of the sales team. 

Negotiate sales with existing and new customers. 

Contribute to the development of sales, marketing, customer retention, advertising, pricing.

Coach sales representative on:

The technical aspects of the business units products and services; 

Marketing campaigns and sales promotions; 

Sales techniques, procedures and standards that will help them achieve their sales targets.

Oversee that the claims team/claims manager’s work schedules, targets and KPI’s are met in relation to customer servicing and enquiries, that the relation with AVIVA and HBC are consistently followed up. 

Plan, prioritize, and schedule the claims and administrative team’s activities so that resources are used effectively and that work schedules and targets are met. 

Responsible for ensuring that the relation to Hospitals and the premier operation management runs smoothly and effective in order to ensure customer satisfaction.
